Parenting Coordination is a child centered dispute resolution process designed to help families who remain embroiled in ongoing conflict that continues after their separation or court matters have concluded. It includes education and coaching, consensus building and decision making. Parenting coordinators work with these conflicted families for an extended period of time, usually between 1 and 2 years, to minimize their conflict, reduce the impact on their children and build their capacity for effective decision making after the parenting coordination process has concluded.
How services are delivered:
Parenting Coordination services will be delivered by one of our Parenting Coordination contractors. Client fees will be determined upon intake based on a carefully designed sliding fee scale and on the subsidy funds we have available. Clients with financial means will pay the full fee of $240/hr. A portion of those fees will be used to provide additional subsidy to families in financial need.
